- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Would highly recommend Dr. Niemi and his team at Carolina Foot and Ankle. I originally went for several problems (toenail fungus, bunion and hammertoe). I was given clear recommendations for solutions with the long term advantages, disadvantages, and costs explained clearly. I elected to go forward with medication for the fungus (which has cleared up, happily) and have the surgery for bunion/hammertoe. the instructions pre and post operation were clear and the surgery and recovery were much less painful than I had anticipated - which was a pleasant surprise. My follow up appointments were scheduled quickly and I never waited in the office more than a few minutes.
